Description

This solicitation will be for a firm fixed price requirement, full and open competition, for 37 each Ammunition Door. DESC: 5340-01-250-6036, Part Number: 9377634, The item to procure is a Door F/M1A1 Tank (5340-01-250-6036) which is a close tolerance machined part from steel, armor, wrought, homogenous, class 1. Finish is manganese phosphate base with carc paint. The a pproximate size is 31 in long x 28 in wide x 1 in thick. Requirements are 37 each, door. FOB is destination. For use on the M1A1 Abrams Tank. Estimated issue date is February 18, 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or prop osal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include one (1) 50 percent option.
