Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is seeking actuarial services for benefit determination, valuation, and administration in defined benefit pension plans. The services required with respect to the pension plan covered by PBGC under Title IV of ERISA include, but are not limited to: i) determining and valuing plan-provided benefits, ii) determining, valuing, and administering PBGC-payable benefits, iii) developing computer software to assist in performing i), and ii) above and iv) developing training to assist in performing i), ii), and iii) above. This contract will be for a base period with four one-year option for renewal at PBGC's discretion. The solicitation document, including any amendments, will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The solicitation is not currently available, but is estimated to be available on or about February 28, 2005.
