Description

This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Quantities are 1789 each for the MK11-2 Pallet Adapter Top and Bottom. The MK11-2 Top and Bottom Pallet Adapters are made of welded steel wire and have a hot dipped galvanized finish. The Top P allet Adapter measures approximately 20 x 24 x 6.25 high and has a strap brace in the middle to secure the load to the MK3 Pallet. The Bottom Pallet Adapter measures approximately 20 x 24 x 2.125. The Top has 12 round pockets to fit over the nose o f the projectile and the Bottom has 12 pockets to fit the base of the projectile. The solicitation will include a 100% Evaluated Option for each Line Item. Solicitation issue date is on or about 3 March 2005 with closing date approximately 21 Apr 05. Aw ard will be based on Best Value criteria identified in the solicitation. Technical Data Packages (TDP) are rated Distribution D and will not be available on the internet. Requests for TDP should be emailed to Rita.Combs@us.army.mil. All TDP requests mus t include contractor's cage code and business size. Contractors must be registered in Joint Certification Program (JCP) at: www.dlis.dla.mil/ to receive the TDP.
