Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has a commercial services requirement for parking lot spaces in Washington DC within the immediate walking distance of the following address: 490 L'Enfant Plaza, SW, Washington, DC. These parking spaces are in support of the NTSB Headquarters authorized employees at this facility. These services will be required for a one (1) year period starting approximately April 1, 2005. NTSB plans to award this Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Colonial Parking, who is the only source co-located with leasing rights to the parking lot that serves this facility. The authority is only one responsible source 10 U.S.C.2304 (c)(1). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions/responses regarding this acquisition must be submitted via e-mail (keith.oneill@ntsb.gov) no later than February 18, 2005, 3:00 pm EST.
