- Description
- Base work includes maintenance dredging approximately 1.09 million cubic yards of shoal material from SJ Cut-5 through SJ Cut-9 (Acceptance Sections 3 through 12), Intracoastal Waterway (IWW), to a required depth of 12 feet plus 2-foot allowable over depth, St. Johns County, Florida. Dredged material shall be placed in upland area SJ-14 located approximately 2 miles west of Palm Valley Bridge, State Road 210. Return water from diked area via pipeline is required. Work includes turbidity monitoring. Option 1 work includes maintenance dredging approximately 97,000 cubic yards of shoal material from IWW SJ Cut-5, Station 100+00 to 120+00 (Acceptance Section 2), to a required depth of 12 feet plus 2-foot allowable overdepth, St. Johns County, Florida. Dredged material material shall be placed in upland area SJ-14 located approximately 2 miles west of Palm Valley Bridge, State Road 210. Work includes turbidity monitoring. Option 2 work includes maintenance dredging approximately 93,000 cubic yards of s hoal material from IWW SJ Cut-5, Station 80+00 to 100+00 (Acceptance Section 1), to a required depth of 12 feet plus 2-foot allowable overdepth, St. Johns County, Florida. Dredged material shall be placed in upland area SJ-14 located approximately miles w est of Palm Valley Bridge, State Road 210. Work includes turbidity monitoring. Option 3 work includes maintenance dredging approximatley 23,000 cubic yards of shoal material from IWW DU Cuts 7, 8, and 9, IWW, to a required depth of 12 feet plus 2-foot al lowable overdepth, Duval County, Florida. Dredged materials shall be placed in upland area DU-8 adjacent to IWW near Atlantic Boulevard Bridge. Work includes turbidity monitoring. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about 28 February 2005 with bids due on or about 14 April 2005.
