- NA NASA/KSC has a requirement for maintenance, calibration, and repair of Inframeterics model 760 units and AGEMA PM 595 units for Return to Flight operations at KSC. NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from FLIR Systems, out of North Billerica, MA, in accordance with the statutory authority U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). This is a sole-source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. FLIR Systems has been identified as the only known responsible source to complete the requirement. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP). This notice of intent is not a request for quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by mail, fax, or email to Mr. Rob Wolfinger not later than 12 NOON KSC local tine on Wednesday, March 2, 2005.
