Description
Shoe, Men's and Shoe, Women's, Safety (chukka) (Navy Certified Styles), NSN: 8430-01-504-1255(s) and 8435-01-504-1393(s). Men's and Women's shoe are to be Vendor Managed at Great Lakes Recruit Center and NEXCOM (Pensacola) sales store. All other Navy customers will be supplied by Bill and Hold. Men's Quantity: (Vendor Managed) Minimum: 10,848 Pr,Maximum:54,234 Pr; (Direct Vendor Delivery) Minimum: 4920 Pr, Maximum: 24,594 Pr; (B&H/Depot) Minimum: 5514 Pr; Maximum: 27,744 Pr with four term options of the same quantities. Women's Quantity: (Vendor Managed) Minimum: 2214 Pr, Maximum: 11604 Pr; (Direct Vendor Delivery) Minimum: 1182 Pr, Maximum: 5898 Pr; (B&H/Depot) Minimum: 1308 Pr; Maximum: 6528 Pr with four term options of the same quantities. Destination: Bill & Hold, New Cumberland, PA, Tracy, CA, Great Lakes, IL and Pensacola, FL. Items to be manufactured in accordance with Navy Certified Styles. Production leadtime is 90 days after date of award. Procurement will be issued on an unrestricted basis and will be evaluated under Best Value Procedures with the following factors: Experience/Past Performance, Vendor Managed, Bill & Hold, Socio-Economic, Javits Wagner O'Day. This product requires certification. With respect to products requiring certification, awards will be made only for products which are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in the United States Navy Protective Clothing and Equipment Certification Program whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date. The attention of the contractors is called to these requirements, and manufacturers are urged to arrange to have the products that they propose to offer the Federal Government tested for qualifications in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts for the products covered by this purchase description. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment) impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing & Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
