Description: The magnetic measurements test bench is basically a motorized ultra high precision 3-D cross-slide setup which positions a magnetic field sensor inside the gap of an undulator to an accuracy of 10 ?m (0.0004 in) in horizontal and vertical position and to 3 ?m (0.00012 in) in longitudinal over 6 m (240 in) . The measurements are used to adjust the magnetic field in the undulators and to establish the magnetic axis through which an electron beam is delivered
