Description

The Urology Department at Fort Harrison VAMC will contract services for the purpose of Extracorpeal Shock Wave Lithotripscy (ESWL). The service will be provided one day per month with the expectation of performing 1-6 treatments/patients per day. Charges will be reimbursed per patient. Patients undergoing this procedure, will need to be processed through the Same Day Surgery department as these procedures required deep conscious sedation and or general anesthesia. Some patients may be required to stay overnight in an observation status. The company that provides the ESWL service will be expected to provide all necessary equipment and technical personnel to perform these procedures. Fort Harrison VAMC will provide necessary physician staff to perform these procedures. Fort Harrison is located outside Helena, Montana. This contract is estimate to cost between $25,000 and $100,000.
