Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for 1 each CNC Plain Cylindrical Dual Axis Grinder for the Kansas Army National Guard (KSARNG) - Advance Turbine Engine Army Maintenance Team (ATEAM), Ft Riley, Kansas. This solicitation is prepared IAW FAR Su bpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quote number is W912JC-05-T-570 2. NAICS code is 423830 Industrial Machinery and Equipment Merchant and size standard is 100 employees. Item will be delivered FOB Dest to Advance Turbine Engine Army Maintenance (ATEAM), Kansas Army National Guard, Bldg. 741 Ray Rd, Marshall Field, Fort R iley, Kansas 66442. The contractor whos quote is deemed to be the lowest priced technically acceptable proposal received in response to this solicitation shall be awarded the contract. The requirement is for a Shigiya Model GPS-30.60 Dual Axis CNC Cylind erical Grinder, or equal. The salient characteristics are CNC Cylinderical 2 Axis Grinder, with automatic wheel wear compensation; automatic wheel balancer or OEM design to eliminate the need for wheel balancing; minimum wheel size 1 ? x 16; minimum of 11 swing; minimum of 20 between centers; minimum transverse of Wheel 8 inches, Table 20 inches; minimum of 9 degrees work piece positive travel; minimum increment of .00005 inch; full installation and introductory training, i.e., TURNKEY; freight prepaid ; one year warranty on parts and labor. Quotes will only be accepted from authorized dealers of the make and model of equipment offered. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (2/2002) applies to this acquisition.
