- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following: ZTEC Instruments Digitizer/Digital Oscilloscope, 1 GS/S, 8-Bit, E1428A Replacement, P/N ZT1428VXI (QTY 2); and VXI Extended Warranty with annual cleaning and Calibration, P/N ZTEXTVXI-00, (QTY 2). A contract will be placed with ZTEC Instruments because the original was provided by ZTEC; this is a replacement part and must be compatible with existing equipment. No other commercial source exists to meet the system specification of this required component. A formal Solicitation N66604-05-Q-2327 will be posted on our website on approximately 3/8/05. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. Offers should include price and delivery terms. Offers must be submitted to Commercial Acquisition Department, Bldg. 22, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Code 591, Simonpietri Drive, Newport, RI 02841-1708 or may be faxed to 401-832-4820.
