Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport RI intends to award a sole source contract to Progeny Systems Corporation, Washington, DC under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Only One Responsible Source for the maintenance, upgrading, and development of Temporary Alteration Package for the Digital Data Collection System Information Server (DDCS-IS), along with providing direct system support during Virginia Class weapon compatibility testing. Progeny Systems Corporation is the developer of the DDCS-IS software and hardware and is the only source with the required understanding of the applications necessary to accomplish the work. A five year, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is planned. Any challenges to this sole source action should be brought to the attention of the Contracting Officer prior to the closing date. This procurement is not a follow on. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-NOV-2004).
