- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4600-04-T-0199 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 333415 and the size standard is 750 employees. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside requirement. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order for the following item: ***CLIN 0001: Air Conditioner, the unit is a Challenger Down flow with a 32 half inch square foot print. Manufacturer: Liebert , Model Number: BF060E, Quantity Needed: One. Scope of work for the project is as follows: Replace the air conditioner in Room 143B of Building 578 at Offutt AFB Nebraska. The new air conditioner will cool racks of computer equipment and allow for expansion for more equipment. Install a 5 ton DX Liebert air conditioning unit to exhaust air under the raised floor in room 143B. Install condensing unit directly outside of the room to the north. Install piping, fitting, and all electrical to have system operational. Install perforated floor tile to let air escape from sub floor. Demolish and discard old indoor air conditioning unit, condensing unit, and all associated equipment. Codes: All work shall fully comply with 2003 National Electrical Code. All penetrations shall be installed in accordance with Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) regulations. Use sound deadening wrap to extend 3 feet inside from outside wall. Fill all gap penetrations. *****BRAND NAME OR EQUAL IS ACCEPTABLE for a Leibert Chiller.
