Description

Basic Ordering Agreement to supply electricity and ancillary services for various DoD, DoE, VAMC, NASA, and other Federal Civilian Installations in Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas and Virginia. No BOA will be awarded to an offeror who at the time of award is not on the state approved list of retail electricity providers in the state in which award is to be made. Delivery period is 60 months May 2005 through April 2010. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is available. This announcement and the document, which can be accessed at the URL identified below, constitute the only solicitation. The solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) and has incorporated provisions and clauses as in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. Additional requirements may be added by amendment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The RFP is available through the DESC-A electricity web site, http://www.desc.dla.mil/DCM/DCMSolic.asp?SolicID=853.
