Description

This solicitation requires The Power Fire Unit Layout which has approximately 5,600 acres of fire salvage timber sale layout including boundary designation, logging plans, and mapping. The total area will be divided into six approximately equal bid items, to be bid both with and without GPS measurement of the units. Each item maybe awarded separately. The area is approximately 15 air miles east of Pioneer, CA. The project units are generally within one hour travel time from the Amador Ranger Station, Eldorado National Forest,in Pioneer, Ca. All units can be accessed from State Highway 88, via Panther Creek, Ellis, and Bear River Roads. The estimated solicitation issue date will be March 18, 2005, with the solicitation closing April 8, 2005. Estimated start work date April 15, 2005. Contract time 30 days.
