Description: Sheppard AFB is seeking information for upcoming basewide Refuse Collection and Disposal Service. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and necessary to perform the service. The contractor shall maintain established routes for Sheppard AFB and must also be able to provide an alternative method of food waste pick-up which would include compost disposal of the waste via a "tankage" or similar method. It is anticipated that the contract will be to a competitive 8(a) firm. The proposed contract will a one(1) year basic contract period, (1 Oct 05-30 Sep 06) with four (4) one year options available thereafter.
