Description

Questions and answers to date: 1. I had a quick question about the NAICS code used to determine the small business size. You used a NAICS code of 334119 which is for manufacturing. The manufacturing code doesn't apply since you are soliciting quotes only from small business, none of whom manufacture Cisco equipment. I feel the appropriate NAICS code should be 541519 (IT VAR) with a small business standard of 150 employees or less, or you could choose 423430 (Computer Peripheral Equipment Wholesaling) which has a size standard of 500 employees or less for Government contracting. Answer: The NAICS code chosen for this project was suggested by the SBA contact for making those determinations. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-MAR-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
