Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the provision of Unarmed Guard Services for the Federal Correctional Institution located in Ashland, Kentucky. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in the award of a single contract that shall consist of a base year with (4) four consecutive (12) twelve month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 17, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website. The site provides downloading instructions; therefore, hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about April 18, 2005. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 561612, Guard Services and the applicable small business size standard is $10.5 million. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
