Description

GSA's Freight Management Program (FMP) has posted the 2005-2006 General Request for Offers (RFO). The filing window will be open from March 8, 2005 to April 11, 2005, with a rate effective date of May 1, 2005. Traffic to be included under this RFO and its Special Filing Instruction (SFI) will be freight-all-kinds (FAK) shipments moving via closed van for all less than truckload (LTL) (0 pounds to 10,000 pounds) shipments and all truckload (TL) (20,000 pounds to 40,000 pounds and over) shipments that are being requested for the following types of traffic: General Freight Traffic, Intrastate Alaska, United States Postal Service, Western Distribution Center (Fire Suppression Support), Agency Specific Non-Alternating, United States Mint (Minor Coin), Federal Aviation Administration, Oklahoma City, OK, and Agency Specific Alternating, rate offers.
