Description
The Regional Contracting Office, Southwest, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA has a requirement for nonpersonal services to perform Preventative Maintenance, Inspection and Service (PMIS) of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) of Vehicle Fueling Station Systems. This includes, but is not limited to, repair, replacement, inspection, testing, and calibration. All work under this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act. The work includes providing all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment, supervision, management, and incidental engineering needed to perform all required on-site PMIS of the CNG Vehicle Fueling Systems as recommended by the manufacturers of the systems and standard industry practice. The work also includes responding to unscheduled service calls and to perform minor repairs and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity major repairs. Maintenance of a CNG system begins at the wet gas inlet (meter) up to the point of delivery of the fuel to! the vehicle, including all associated components. The Period of Performance is approximately (6) six months. This requirement will be acquired in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The government anticipates a single award made on an all or non basis. The procurement is 100% set-aside for small business under NAICS 221210 with a small business size standard of 500 number employees. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the government considering price and other factors. The government anticipates the electronic solicitation issue date of 15 March 2005.
