Description

Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, and transportation to perform physical condition surveys of dam embankments to identify and document any visual deficiencies to the dam and its appurtenance works. The inspection required under this contract does not require the contractor to inspect the poritons of the outlet works that cannot be normally inspected from the exterior of the outlet work. There are 67 sites to be examined and the the bid schedule is per site. The contractor will have 120 days to complete the project upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed is issued. This project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be a fixed price service contract and the Service Contract Wage Determinations will apply. Solicitation will be available on April 4, 2005, on our web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hard copies of the request for quotations will be sent. See Note 1.
