Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS; IT IS STRICTLY A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). NEITHER UNSOLICITED PROPOSALS NOR ANY OTHER TYPES OF OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI. This a request for information on the requirement to provide combined flight engineering and aircrew services to perform MH-53 Functional Check Flights (FCFs), maintenance flights, and aircraft recoveries or deliveries at Hurlburt Field, FL. Request industry comment on the following: 1. How quality is measured when providing these services? 2. How your firm implements quality control, how often do you perform inspections, what is the frequency of inspection, etc.? 3. What quality standards are used when providing these services? 4. What contract arrangement is used to provide these services, i.e. firm fixed price, etc.? 5. Where does your firm provide these services currently? 6. Any other comment applicable to this requirement. 7. The current SOW is attached. What would you state differently in the SOW, what information in the statement of work is unnecessary and provides a ?how to? in lieu of an end objective and any other recommendations to develop a Performance Based Statement of Work? 8. Please provide your size and status (Reference Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19) Again, this is not a request for proposal or quote; this is a request for information.
