Description
The USDA Forest Service is offering road maintenance work on the Ottawa National Forest in the western upper peninsula of Michigan. The work includes grading, ditch cleaning, culvert cleaning, fallen and standing tree removal, branch trimming, roadside mowing, and emergency equipment movement. It is anticipated that multiple indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts will be awarded with approximately four task orders (ranging between $20,000 and $30,0000) issued annually. The solicitation will be a small business set-aside Request for Proposal including technical evaluation criteria resulting in a best value award. Work will be performed during the field season months of June through September. ORCA certification is required. Prospective contractors should check this site for additional solicitation information around April 8, 2005.
