Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for an electronic Retirement Recognition Program and an electronic Length of Service Recognition Program. Through these programs, the honorees shall be able to select one recognition item, such as a watch, frame, clock or crystal product, from a variety of choices of different items. These items will be selected electronically from customized websites established for the individual recognition programs or from a 1-800 number with easy ordering. The customized retirement recognition website and the customized length of service website will be accessed through a link in FHWA internal Intranet. Currently, the FHWA has over 3,000 employees nationwide and it is estimated that between 400 to 700 employees are eligible to retire nationwide within the next two years. Of the 3,000 employees, approximately 150 will be eligible to receive length of service recognition items each year. The purchase order will run one (1) year with four (4)one-year option periods. This is a Simplified Acquisition and will be awarded as a small business set-aside. Award of a Blanket Purchase Agreement resulting from this solicitation will be made to the offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be the most advantageous to the Government. Proposals will be due on April 18, 2005, 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
