Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The United States Congress created the National Academies in 1863, to advise the government in scientific and technical matters. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Small businesses are encouraged to apply. The government will consider any responses received by 9:00 a.m. E.S.T., Monday, April 11, 2005.
