Description

The Primary Point of Contact for this project is Vernon Vann, Contract Specialist, (817) 886-1049. This project has been amended in the description as follows: This will be a firm-fixed price construction project to provide construction of a new 56 room Student Officer Quarters at Laughlin AFB, Texas. The facility will consist of approximately 28,000 square footage of space and will include dormitory living spac e, common areas, and stairwells. The project will also include a new covered parking spaces, connecting sidewalks for pedestrian circulation, site improvements, such as picnic and BBQ areas, appropriate building and landscaping stand-off distances and oth er anti-terrorism/force protection measures. Supporting utilities shall include gas, sewer, water, and underground electrical and communication services. This project will be advertised as an UNRESTRICTED. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals ar e for specific percentages of the contractors total planned subcontract amount to be placed with the following: Small Business, 41.3%; Small Disadvantaged Business 15.8%; Women-Owned Small Business 5.6%; HUB Zone Small Business 7.5%; Service-Disabled Vet eran-Owned Small Business 1.0%; Historically Black Colleges & Universities/Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI) 13.9%. Reporting by Large Business 100%. NAICS Code is 236116. Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 Million. Estimated issue date is on or aroun d 13 April 2005.
