Description
This is a design/build best value source selection to provide a single story steel framed structure with pile foundation, grade beams and structural concrete floor, masonry walls, standing seam metal roofing system, fire protection system, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, an armory for weapons storage, staging areas, classrooms, drill hall, locker and shower rooms, restrooms, workshops, and electrical and mechanical utilities. The Vehicle Maintenance Facility will be a single story steel framed structure with pile foundation, grade beams and structural concrete floor, masonry walls, standing seam metal roofing, fire protection system, high bay maintenance compartments, coiling overhead doors, tool room, parts room, conditioned office spaces, restrooms, storage, heating, ventilation and electrical and mechanical utilities. Built-in equipment includes compressed air system, lockers, vehicle lube and exhaust systems, and partitions. Information systems include NMCI room and configurations. Special cost include fire protection system, hazmat building and washrack GFCI. Provide paving and site improvements. All sustainable features will be included in the design, development and construction for the project in accordance with Executive Order 13123 and all executive orders. The construction and site will comply with the DOD Anti-terrorism and Force Protection Guidance for primary gathering structures. The target award amount is $6,090,000. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is 22 April 2005. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet.
