Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture proposes to purchase a Feed and Grain Analyzer (Near Infrared). The Analyzer must comply with the following specification: Must be able to measure soybean seed composition components, desired wavelength of 950 to 1650 nm, operating environment of 5-35° C and humidity of 35-80% and the system should include operating and calibration software. The Analyzer shall be installed/set-up delivery FOB to the USDA, ARS, Stoneville, MS. An IFB with complete specification requirements will be issued on or about April 29, 2005 with all bids being due at 3:00 p.m. May 31, 2005. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the IFB package. All requests must be submitted in writing, faxed to (662) 686-5373 or by electronic mail to: tvjones@ars.usda.gov. No calls will be accepted.
