Description

SYNOPSIS NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS Solicitation Number: 6FEP-E1-040287-N Commodity: FSC 5120 Misc. Hand Tools Contract Period: 9/01/2005, or date of award (whichever is later) – 8/31/2007 with three one-year options The General Services Administration (GSA), Global Supply is in the process of preparing a formal solicitation for FSC 5120, Misc. Hand Tools. The solicitation will result in a two year Requirement Term Contract, Indefinite Quantity Fixed Price, with three one-year options. This solicitation will contain requirements for nine (9) items. The contract will include an Economic Price Adjustment clause. Delivery will be FOB destination within the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia, 45 DARO or less and a minimum order amount of no more than $50.00. Clause 552.225-70 Notice of Procurement Restriction – Hand or Measuring Tools or Stainless Steel Flatware will apply. A notice of the solicitation will be placed on the FedBizOps website (no hard copies will be mailed). Firms requesting notification of the posting date will receive an e-mail advising them when the notice is posted, however, it is the vendor’s responsibility to monitor FedBizOps. THE SOLICITATION IS SCHEDULED TO ISSUE ON OR ABOUT 5/4/2005. Award will be made to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the solicitation requirements and is the best value to the government.
