Description
The US Fish & Wildlife Service invite quotes on a solicitation of a 30' x 10' Pontoon specially designed boat, motor and trailer. This boat will be used to accommodate environmental education outdoor classroom studies and public tours on the Mississippi River. The estimated magnitude of the contract award amount is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Boat, 30 feet long by 10 feet wide and constructed from 0.125 gauge thick 5052 aluminum by 20 inches depth, bulk heads every 48 inches for strength and safety, built in 30 gallon fuel tank. Solid rails around 3 sides with 2 chain gates 36 inches wide. The front will be removable rails which will include a 4 foot wide expanded metal ramp (used to off load ATV's). 30 inch X 30 inch hole in deck (hatch) with door that can sustain the weight of an adult. Hatch should be reinforced to install tripod, two spud holes located on each side of front of boat, two spud bars to include handle to push, spud bar length should extend the depth of the boat plus 4 feet. Front half of floor- -diamond plate, painted. Back half of floor - outdoor marine carpet. Seating - aluminum around the inside of the side rails (front half); seating will fold down - storage box seating for back half (4-16 inch x 48 inch), 3 foot bench in front of console (cooler style) and Captains chair (adjustable and able to slide back to stand). Ring buoy, mounted in the front of the console with 60 feet of rope. Console: located in center rear with the front of the console 84 inches from the rear of the boat. It will include smart gauges, four 12 volt receptacle, running lights and switches, horn, windshield with grab bar and 2 spot lights mounted. Dual batteries with a guest switch. Marine band radio with a PA system built in. Holders for cell phone, GPS Unit, radio etc. At least 4 slots (slots are to be 4 inches long X 3inches wide). Removable tripod 48 inches high that can attach to hatch. Removeable table in front of console 3 foot x 3 foot. Two anchors and 4 tie-off points. Jabsco-type wash down pump mounted on the rear of the pontoon. Motor: Mercury 150 horsepower or equal and Control Box, Rigging kit wire harness and smart gauges. Trailer: Tandem with sealed lights, EZ Lube spindles, Large tongue jack, one axle hydraulic surge brake, center guides for loading, 14 inch radial tires, 2 inch coupler and 1 spare tire.
