Description: Contractor to provide/furnish labor, material and equipment to crop out and remove the existing MSD steel tank from its installed location. Remove all the cropped steel off ship and send it to scrap. Clean the existing foundation to bare metal surfaces, prime and paint the cleaned surfaces in accordance with MARAD Coating Manual. Pick up owner furnished new MSD steel tank panels and deliver to the engine room lower level, MSD compartment and prepare for assemble and installation. A complete solicitation is expected to be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website not later than April 20, 2005. Prospective bidders are encouraged to ensure their Central Contractor Registration data is current at the CCR website: www.ccr.gov
