This is a Sources Sought Notice requesting information needed by the Government prior to release of a potential solicitation. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The TACOM-Rock Island is conducting this market survey to determine the interest and ca pability of industry to participate in a competitive acquisition for variety of M203 spare parts in accordance with the Government Technical Data Package and strict quality inspection requirements. This is a market survey announcement for informational pla nning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposals or Invitation for Bids nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal, but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas. Any proprietary information should be properly identified. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any costs incurred in responding to this announcement, or in subsequent exchanges of information. Information is being sought on produc t capabilities, suppliers capabilities, quality controls, and business practices. Interested companies should respond to this announcement by completing the Market Survey Questionnaire. A Market Survey Questionnaire is required for any or all items of interest to your company. The price and availability data should be based on the Government's estimated quantities for a three-year period as shown on the Market Research Questionnaire.
