Description

This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about APRIL 27, 2005. TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The project consists of providing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, machinery, incidentals and supervision necessary for the removal and/or dispersal of hazard trees and storm debris, the righting of root balls to approximately their original positions and grinding of designated stumps to a depth not to exceed 4" below grade. All work to be done occurs in the Fort Harrison, Gaines Mill and Cold Harbor Units of Richmond National Battlefield Park. The units are identified on the maps and associated tables attached to the scope of work. The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. Contractors shall submit TECHNICAL PROPOSALS in accordance with the Instructions for Preparing Technical Proposals in order to be considered to the project. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR: MAY 17, 2005, at 9:00 AM. Contractors are to meet at Richmond National Battlefield's Fort Harrison Unit Ranger Station, 1990 Maintenance Way, Richmond, VA. The NAICS Code for this project is 561730. The project estimate is between $100,000 and $500,000.
