Description: The IRP, National Institute on Aging, NIH, Baltimore, MD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the National Academy of Sciences for a project entitled "Genetic Influences on Personality and Health in Old Age". The goal of this research activity is to collect data that will allow us to examine genetic influences on personality in old age and to investigate the joint influenes of genetics and of personality on health in old age in the NAS-NRC Registry of WWII Military Veteran Twins data set.
