- Description
- The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Office of Management and Budget, General Services Administration and the Department of Defense have revamped the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. SBA is therefore the authoritative source for business types in the CCR system for 8(a), SBA?s Certified Small Disadvantaged Business, and HUBZone. Also, CCR incorporates SBA?s existing size standards logic to validate a firm?s small business status and eligibility as an Emerging Small Business. For additional information about this please see http://www.sba.gov/size/indexwhatsnew.html#migration. CCR previously sent every CCR registered company a notice of the coming change. SBA is also making the notice available at the same site, because it includes a number of Frequently Asked Questions about this change.
