Description
The US Army ARDEC is conducting a market survey to identify potential contractors capable of providing the following component: 1) Transmitter with antenna for use in ARRT-124 Telemetry Systems in support of the XM982, EXCALIBUR program. The following information is relative to the performance criteria required for this procurement: A. The transmitter with antenna (Special scimitar antenna provides reliable RF link in-bore and in-flight) must be able to operate under the extremes of environmental stresses, including operation at longitudinal shock levels beyond 40,000g with crystal-controlled transmitter to 0.003%. The transmitter with antenna must be able to deliver 200mW min of RF output power at any factory set frequency between 2200-2300 MHz. B. Power Requirements: Voltage: 17 to 32 VDC, Current: 200 mA max. C. Modulation Specification: Type: Phase Modulated, Coupling: AC, Frequency Response: 100 Hz to 1 MHz +or ??? 1.5 db. D. Environmental Requirements: Operating temperature: -20 degree C to +70 degree C, Non-Operating: -55 degree C to +100 degree C, Sine Vibration: 20g, 20-2000 Hz, 3 axes, Random Vibration: 0.1g 2/HZ, 20-2000 Hz, 3 axes, Acceleration: 1000G, 3 axes, Shock: 20 kg, 3mS, 1 axis, Altitude: Unlimited.
