Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions asked regarding Solicitation N65886-05-T-0001. Question 1: Is the requirement for initial certification and maintenance, or for surveillance/re-certification already-certified facilities? Answer 1: The requirement is for surveillance and re-certification for already certified facilities as stated in the PSOW as follows: 1.1. This Performance Statement of Work (PSOW) and attached Performance Standards Matrix, provides for the continued registration of the Naval Air Depot Jacksonville (NAVAIRDEPOTJAX), Florida and it's detachments as ISO9001:2000 and AS9100-2001 compliant in accordance with the ANAB accreditation requirements. The contract will include Surveillance/Maintenance Audits to maintain the registration to the latest standard through the completion of the contract. Where the term ISO 9001/AS9100 is used, it is understood to mean the current system on the date of the activity. Question 2: What are the employee levels for Beaufort, Mayport, and Norfolk? Answer 2: The employee levels are contained in Tables 1 and 2 of the PSOW. Beaufort is included in the F-18/F-14 Aircraft SBT. F-18/F-14 Aircraft SBT (Includes detachment at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, South Carolina) 142 Number of People). Mayport is included in the H-60/Flight Line Support/In-Service Repair (ISR) SBT. H-60/Flight Line Support/In-Service Repair (ISR) SBT (Includes detachment at Naval Station Mayport, Florida) 151 Number of People. Norfolk is included in the Detachment Oceana SBT. Det Oceana is both Oceana and Norfolk.
