- The Defense Contracting Command Washington, on behalf of the United States Army Center of Military History is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the development of a corporate Brand Identity Logo for the National Museum of the United States Army. This Brand Identity Program shall also include creative design elements and accompanying graphics standards. The objective of the Brand Identity Program is to capture and communicate the essence of the National Museum through a strategic and powerful combi nation of creative design elements. The proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses, and the NAICS code is 541430. The small business size standard is $6 million dollars. Interested parties may gain access to RFQ W74V8H-05-T-0173 via the Internet from the DCC-W homepage at http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFP1.asp. Interested parties shall submit questions electronically to Mark Brady, Defense Contracting Command-Washington by e-mail at Mark.Brady@hqda.army.mil referencing the RFQ by 5 May 2005, 10:00 A.M. est. Questions will be answered by an amendment to this synopsis. Proposals must be received no later than 16 May 2005 at 12:00 P.M. EST. All proposals shall be delivered using one of the following methods: E-MAIL to Mr. Mark Brady , EXPRESS MAIL CARRIERS: Offers submitted by express mail services (e.g., Federal Express, United Parcel Service, DHL,etc.) shall be submitted to: Department of the Army, Defense Contracting Command-Washington, Attn: Mr. Mark Brady, Rm. 1C256, 5200 Army P entagon, Washington, D.C. 20310-5200. HAND-CARRIED: DCC-W Receptionist, Rm. 1C243, The Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 20310-5200. Please advise Mark Brady no later than 24 hours prior to delivery by both telephone (703) 693-6390 and e-mail (this is to assure t hat arrangements can be made to accept promptly by appropriate personnel). U.S. POSTAL SERVICE CHANNELS (LEAST PREFERRED METHOD): Department of the Army, Defense Contracting Command-Washington, Attn: Mr. Mark Brady, Rm. 1C256, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washingto n, D.C. 20310-5200. Because of tightened security measures, this method is strongly discouraged. Packages arriving through U.S. Postal Service are screened and may be opened prior to their receipt at DCC-W. These actions and other uncertain delays are very probable and are entirely outside the control of DCC-W. Any package received in DCC-W through postal channels after the due date will be returned in the same condition it was received.
