Description
The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) sites located in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia require a contractor/s to provide all properly trained labor, equipment, tools, personal protective equipment, material, licenses, fees, permits, certifications, supervision, transportation, manifests, and all other items and services necessary to perform the recycling/ disposal of used tires and scrap rubber made available by the Government. The contractor agrees to provide all services and items necessary for the final disposal of all property listed in the schedule in accordance with all local, state and Federal laws and regulations. Forklift (some with steel core), light and heavy truck, heavy equipment, HUMMVV (some on rims), vehicle and aircraft tires are all included. Quantities and frequencies of any particular style, size, or manufacturer are not guaranteed. Various scrap rubber consisting of DEMIL ?B? and ?Q? code types are: ground vehicular tires, solid and pneumatic tires from fixed and rotary wing aircrafts (some with rims from light and heavy trucks and tactical vehicles), passenger vehicles, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, agricultural, or aircraft tires, bias ply or steel belted used tires, etc. Period of performance shall be for one year with 4 one-year options. Contractors may propose on one Region or multiple Regions. If a contractor proposes for a region, it must be able to remove tires from all sites located in that region. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. NAICS is 562111. Size standard - $10.5 Million. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration" applies to all solicitations issued on/or after 06-01-98. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror INEGLIGIBLE FOR AWARD.
