Description

F2VUCC5137A100 It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Requirement is for hotel accommodations for 500 rooms during USSOCOM International SOF week, 5-11 June 2005. Security issues, time constraint and the highly sensitive nature of the conference are key factors in this requirement. The Hyatt Regency was selected to be in the best interest of the Government due to the close proximity to MacDill AFB for military personnel traveling to the conference site daily and for it?s location for conference attendees that will not have proper transportation. This agency intends to award to Hyatt Regency 211 North Tampa Street Tampa, FL 33602.
