- In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29, 2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition on the planner estimator services commercial activity function performed at the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Great Lakes Region, located at various offices in Ohio. PBS provides for the Federal Government?s real property needs by leasing, building and maintaining Federal office space. Government personnel consisting of five (5) commercial activity FTE represent the incumbent service provider located in Ohio, with one (1) located in the each of the following cities: Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and Toledo. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Prospective offerors are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, NO SOLICITATION SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED AND PROPOSALS ARE THEREFORE NOT REQUESTED. The estimated work years will consist of a one-year base period with (4) one-year options.?The designated Competitive Sourcing Official is J. David Hood, Assistant Regional Administrator for PBS.
