- Description
- The Defense Intelligence Agency is seeking to identify potential sources possessing mature or nearly mature, fully autonomous unattended ground sensor (UGS) systems that can provide near real-time data and imagery, during both day and night conditions, to detect, recognize or identify personnel and all sizes/types of vehicles with low false alarm (FA) rates and a high probability of detection (PD) from short and long ranges. The system must be capable of transmitting that data and/or imagery anywhere in the world via unattended satellite communications (SATCOM) to a Windows-based, easy to use graphical user interface (GUI). The system must use standard military or commercial batteries and be able to endure in a variety of conditions including extreme hot, cold, and humid environments for at least 90 days without the need for maintenance. The system must be water resistant, easily programmable, man-packable, easily set-up and employed, self-locatable, concealable, highly reliable, and must have a system-level 2-way command and control (C2) capability via SATCOM.
