Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for two Snap Appliance Servers, series14000 hard drive arrray, 3TB, HD 250 GBx12 3U, Mfg. Part No. 5325301656 and fourteen 14000 3 TB Drive Sled Assemblies (1X250 GB), Mfg. Part No. 5325301658. The anticipated award date is 16 June 2005. This service will be conducted at Patrick AFB, FL. The expected delivery date is no later than 24 June 2005. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-05-T-0187 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3571, business size of $6,000,000 and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423430.
