Description
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community based outpatient substance abuse treatment services in the Montgomery County, Maryland/District of Columbia area in the vicinity of 11651 Nebel Street, Rockville, Maryland and should be within a 15 minute walking distance of a Metro subway station between Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue and Georgia Avenue; the Southern boundary being Constitution Avenue, Washington, D.C. and the Northern boundary being Norbeck Road in Rockville, Maryland for the drug abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year period to begin on October 1, 2005 with services ending September 30, 2006. The services required for this contract include Line Item Number 1: Estimated Number of Inmates 30: (30) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units per 30 inmate = 360 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units per 30 inmates = 1,440 total units; (5) Mental Health Assessment and Report; Mental Health Counseling/Individual Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit) 20 units per 5 inmates = 100 total units; ; Medication Monitoring (1 unit per inmate) 5 total units. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated January 2004. The solicitation will be available on or after July 1, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about August 1, 2005. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. The acquisition is set aside for total small business.
