Description

The purpose of this posting is to provide Question and Answers for Fluid Dispensing System Solicitation Number F1Q2EM5122A100 and to change building number from 788 to 779. Q. Where will the install be: ceiling, wall, etc. A. The tanks will be installed next to a wall. The hoses will drop down from the ceiling. Q. What is the height of the building? A. 50 ft Q. Will the reels require bracketing? A. Yes, for each set of hose reels installed in the ceiling. Q. Will this require reels or not? A. Yes, one for each fluid type. Q. Does this application require high-pressure hoses? A. Yes, for the 10:1 ratio hydraulic and oil tanks Q. How far is the distance from the main feed or pumps to the 300-gallon cylinder style tanks? We rationalize that the distance for pulling/usage will not exceed 50 ft, the amount of hose on the reel. A. The distance from the main feed will be about 115 ft from the hose to the tanks located against the wall. A. Correct, the distance for pulling/usage will be about 32ft, not exceeding 50ft. Clarifications on Project This project requires 3-300 gallon square tanks only. Our facility cannot accommodate anything larger than this. One tank with 3 separated compartments by double walls with 300 capacities each will suffice. We require a separate pump for each product upload/discharge pressure to avoid cross-contamination. Depending on the make-up for the antifreeze tank, we require 3-1:1 pumps, 2-10:1 hydraulic pump for each product
