Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B2E15152A100 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22. This acquisition is restricted 100% to small business 19.1405(b) and is under North American Industry Classification System code 425110, with a small business size standard of 500 Emplyoyees. Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a requirement for 1500 Midland Model# 74-09 (OR EQUAL )desktop weather alert radios. These radios must be programed by the vendor to 171.3875 MHz narrowband before being deliverd to Altus AFB. If vendor cannot program these radios to this required frequencey please do not quote. Award shall be made only o contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor. Registration at: www.ccr2000.com/. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Oct 2003), Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2003). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items (Jun 2004) and its deviations (Apr 2004) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. Paragraph (a and b) of the clause incorporates by reference the following FAR clauses: FAR 52.212-4 is tailored as follows changes in the terms and conditions of this contract may be made only by written agreement of the parties with the exception of administratinve changes (such as changes in paying office appropriation data, etc.) that may be changed unilaterally by the Government. Paragraph (b) of the clause incorporates the following clauses by reference. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be issued in writing. No telephonic responses will be processed. -- FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT; HOWEVER, A REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY05 END OF YEAR SPEND PLAN.
