Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a w ritten solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award this requirement on a Sole Source basis to NanoFast, Inc 416 West Erie St., Chicago, IL 60610-4071 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX-05-R-0023. This is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-4. (v) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure: CLIN 0001 OP300-2A Optical analog transmission system with remote control of power on and 1fixed input range with 100 KHz t o 1.3 GHz response. Quantity: 4 each. CLIN 0002 Remotely selectable preamp 3,6,12 and 12db attenuators and remotely selectable calibrate check. Quantity: 4 each. CLIN 0003 240ft duplex fiber optic cable Quanity: 4 each. (vi) Description of requirements: N/A. (vii) Delivery is required 90 days after date of award. Delivery shall be made to US Army Research Laboratory, Shipping and Receiving, Building 1646, White Sands Missile Range, NM. Acceptance shall be performed at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The F OB point is FOB Destination. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition to the extent consistent with a sole source acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: NONE. (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 5 2.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items, with its offer. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this clause: NONE.
