- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Period of performance is 23 June 2005 through 28 February 2006. A total of 227 rooms per month, on a double occupancy basis, is required. Additionally, maid service amenities are requi red at check-in and once a week. Continental breakfast for each soldier shall be made available daily. Long distance telephone charges must be charged to individual soldiers. An acceptable proposal shall entail no greater than a fifteen minute commute t o the Fort Bliss garrison. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror - Commercial, and 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The Government will make award resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offero r whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following additional provisions/clauses shall apply to the solicitation and/or any resultant award: 52.232-18, Availability of Funds; 52.232-19, Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year; and 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - Central Contractor Registration.
