This RFP is a HUBZone Small Business Set-Aside and offers from other than HUBZone small businesses will not be considered. PROJECT TITLE: Repair Building 1294 LOCATION: Mare Island Naval Ship Yard, Vallejo, CA JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a Design-Build, 2-Phase solicitation to repair and upgrade existing three (3) story barracks building for administrative and training facilities for four (4) USAR medical units. Repairs include seismic and life safety upgrade, re place existing floor and ceiling tiles, new lighting and power, replacing existing doors, replace window glazing to comply with Force Protection requirements, replace existing boiler, new HVAC system in admin and classrooms, new manual fire alarm system, n ew telecommunication system, new entry lobby, exclusive and common administrative areas, classrooms, storage area, renovate existing toilet rooms, new mail room, new freight elevator, CID, resurfacing existing parking lot an painted stalls, landscaping, ex tension of existing utilities as required to service the building, and asbestos and lead base paint abatement. ESTIMATED COST RANGE OF PROJECT: $5,000,000 $10,000,000 All PROPOSALS are due in not later than 05 AUG 2005, 1:00 pm. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z119, SIC CODE: 1542, NAICS Code: 236220. The size standard for this code is $28,500,000.
