Description

The National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, has identified a requirement for solicitation to construct a water pipeline at the Ash Mountain area of Sequoia National Park. This project consist of installation of approximately 6,900 feet of 3-inch waterline and asphalt patching where necessary. An additional 2,500 feet may be contracted as an option. This solicitation is for HUBZone certified contractors only. The National Park Service encourages and welcomes the participation of small business firms, minority-owned business firms, and women-owned business concerns. The solicitation, N8564050011, will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website, http://ideasec.nbc.gov, approximately 15 days after this announcement. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the above web site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the Central Contractors Register (CCR) on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Submission date for offers will be approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. The Government anticipates an award of a firm fixed price contract with a magnitude between $250,000 and $500,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237110 with a size standard for Small Business of $28.5 million.
